Confirmed from Robbins Branch Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Hiking area featuring kid-friendly treks, woods, and a picnic spot.
What runners say about Robbins Branch Trailhead
“In amongst a forest the views are all trees but beautiful just the same.”
“Love this place I grew up on these trails and it's always such a serene peaceful getaway for me.”
I came across this trail head by accident. I thought i was headed to one i had been to before, but somewhere along the way I got turned about and wound up here. I didn't hate it. It started out as a gloomy, after the rain kind of day, but did end with sunshine.
SAT 2025.05.03 morning, did a hike starting Out from "this" Trailhead. Encountered no other person on-the-trails. No epic views, but i had an enjoyable ~2+ hrs listening to the bird singings and lots of sweet solitude. ~08:45 when i got back to the Trailhead parking, i noticed party of ~6 hikers preparing to come in.
It was great except for the smelly dead deer carcus. We were going to have our picnic there after our great hike but found where the smell was coming. Besides that, we love those trails to pieces. Hike there all the time.
Really wonderful hiking. Can be muddy if wet, and there are many stream crossings, so go in with the right attitude and footwear.
Trail conditions & character
“There's nothing special about the trailhead, just a place to park, and I think there was a map, but I didn't look at it.”

“The gravel road can have a few potholes full of water, but most cars should be able to make it if careful.”
