Confirmed from Roby Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Roby Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (523 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏃 great for running 2 mentions

“I love this park! My son can run around and play on most of the things here.”

Jeff Morin Playground at Roby Park is awesome! The best feature is that much of the playground is under canopies, providing lots of shade for all of the Littles playing underneath. There is also a decent size parking lot and typically port-a-potties available. There are two different sections to the playground.

We've only been here once (Dec 2025), but I wanted to write a review because their web site doesn't really say much. We went to go ice skating. It was only 35 degrees, but the ice was great. I think the ice is on a cement base, maybe used in the summer for some other reason.

The kids and I love this playground, besides being close to home, we walk to the park. 🤗

★★★★★ — Juanita , Oct 2025

Roby Park is a great place to bring your child(ren) to run off their energy. The park itself is gated to prevent little ones from running off. There is a soft, rubber-like astroturf under the playground equipment that surely absorbs falls better than any grassy, natural landscape could.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🅿️ Trailhead parking 7 mentions

“Clean, lots of parking, safe playground, shaded seating and shades over the park, enclosed walking path, porta potty, hand sanitizer, soft spongy astroturf, my kid loved it.”
