Confirmed from Rock Vista Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Simple green space featuring giant rocks placed along a gravel hiking/jogging path.
What runners say about Rock Vista Park
“The park was very well kept.”
“Its a nice somewhat quiet park ment for a nature walk or picnics ect.”
This is a beautiful park, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city. With out a doubt the area residents appreciate this gem. The park has ample space for a picnic for a large gathering. There are no gazebos or covered areas. It does offer restroom’s and wheelchair accessible parking and trail.
Delightful experience. My cat enjoyed the tranquil walk but did not chase the squirrels.
Its a nice somewhat quiet park ment for a nature walk or picnics ect. and has a big open field on the other side for sports or playing with animal. I go here to relax and fly my fpv drone. It dose not have playground for kids.
Short 3‑mile loop with panoramic views of city and hills. During wildflower season, the poppies were bright and abundant. Few other hikers. Trail was well‑maintained. Great for morning runs and dog‑walking.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
