Confirmed from Roehr City Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park offering picnic tables and scenic views of the Willamette River for walks.
What runners say about Roehr City Park
“Beautiful view of the lake and historic remains of the Oregon Iron and Steel Co.”
Beautiful walking path along the willamette river . Great for running , walking your pet or biking. Also has some nice shoreline access for fishing!
This was a nice find. Wasn't expecting it behind a busy part of L.O. Great spots to throw a line in! Or just go for a nice walk in any season.
Beautiful place to take a walk near the river. Water is flowing swift today.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
