Hidden gem in Fortuna. Love having this trail a few minutes away from home🌲
The trails were so beutiful but when I went they said there were recent bear and mountain lion sightings. Not the most comforting thing to read as a lone traveller but I went anyways and I am so glad I did. The trails are well maintained.
Sweet hiking trails very well maintained by the city of Fortuna. The city prunes the trees on this trail aggressively so they grow TALL - quite a sight to see! Come to these trails if you want to get away from all the bums in Eureka and Arcata.
It's a great hiking park, with community spaces including benches, tables, small children's play structures, a museum, and a place for their yearly rodeo.
