Confirmed from Roosevelt Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park offering multiple sports areas, trails, lake fishing, an ice skating rink & an outdoor theater.

“Whether you're looking for a peaceful walk or a place to gather with friends, Roosevelt Park provides a welcoming environment for all ages.”
It’s a beautiful park. Highly recommend early morning hours. Very peaceful. Anyone can do the walk/hike, small children and elderly as well. Paths are paved and cleared. Takes about an hour from start entrance to the pond and back in a slow paced walk. Very peaceful
Great park, big space, lot of play amenities for kids. Lake at one side of the park is a beauty. They have ice skating also during winter. There are sports amenities like tennis courts and basketball courts here. There is a walk trail which is having gym instructions at intervals
If you are on Roosevelt Island, I would definitely recommend a nice walk along the river to the end of the island to get some absolutely beautiful photos of the landscape. I wish I had more time to explore and relax in the park and watch the boats go by. It was a cold, snowy morning when I took a walk down to the park.
A small community park that has it all! A beautiful pond with adorable geese and ducks that can put your spirits up real soon. The kids park is a delight to all those new parents who don’t have to worry about minding their kids much - at least for the evening.
