We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Rosewood Trail Trailhead yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Hiking area with shady trails, running water, and views of Thousand Oaks.
What runners say about Rosewood Trail Trailhead
“Great place to hike and observe beautiful views of the Conejo Valley.”
Great views of Thousand Oaks. Has a great trail feel for being in City limits.
Great place for a quick hike/run It's an approx 4 mile loop (2out and 2 back) it's green space between our homes. Well maintained, quite peaceful. There is only an approx 450' elevation rise/fall so it's good to take kids and because it's local and short the young ones will feel like they finished the whole hike.
Wide, well-maintained trail that starts in a nice neighborhood where there is plenty of street parking. Steady incline, view of the city along most parts of the trail, and lots of small wildlife like lizards, birds, and rabbits.
Great place to come and hike or mountain bike. Great way to get away from the daily rountine.
