Confirmed from Royal Palm Beach Pines Natural Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Peaceful nature preserve with 772 acres of trails, boardwalks, and diverse wildlife.
What runners say about Royal Palm Beach Pines Natural Area
“There were beautiful wild flowers and colorful grasshoppers along the trails.”
“It's quiet and serene; we biked the short loop of about 2 miles, good enough for our daughter.”
This was a nice quick trail to enjoy an evening walk with my kids. The main trail is short (which is exactly what I wanted) but there are other trails if you’re looking for something longer. The main trail leads to a gazebo with a nice, simple view. Nothing spectacular but it was still nice.
Visited this preserve on a Sunday afternoon with the family. It's easy to drive to, parking is small but there was just one more car when we got there. It's quiet and serene; we biked the short loop of about 2 miles, good enough for our daughter. There's also a nice boardwalk with a couple of benches.
This is a serene area to go hiking. You drive through an upscale neighborhood to get to the parking area where there's a map of a few trails which vary in length. Bicycles are not allowed but there's an equestrian trail. There are no public restrooms and no concessions.
This out of the way park has lots of places to walk. Starting with a concrete path that goes 825 feet to a pavilion with benches. It’s supposed to overlook a wetland but it was totally dry. Still a great place to sit and enjoy the beautiful view. The other trails are natural surfaces.
