Confirmed from Runnemede Lake Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with trails for walking and picnicking, as well as kid-friendly hikes.
What runners say about Runnemede Lake Park
“The some of the locals have teamed up with town council (Reimagine Runnemede) and they have put great effort into renovating two beautiful trails.”
The some of the locals have teamed up with town council (Reimagine Runnemede) and they have put great effort into renovating two beautiful trails. They are very scenic, with some variation in elevation. The trails are surrounded by woods, marked, bridges have been put in over waterways.
Truly a little gem of a park close by for a scenic hike with our pup, Jaxon and Grand-dog, Diesel. Rarely have we encountered anyone else on our walks with the pups, so the time spent there is more relaxing compared to a populated park with lots of people and dogs.
Runnemede Lake Park has been renovated and cleaned up by the local arts committee and Green Team. There are two distinct trails now and new bridges are going in during 2022. Graffiti has been remediated and there are monthly cleanups by residents.
It's a nice park with a short walking trail to go on, a lake nearby, a ball field, and a RC car course. It's a nice place to spend the afternoon!

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
