Confirmed from Lost World Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Kid-friendly, enclosed park with basketball courts and picnic tables plus a dog park.
What runners say about Lost World Park
“Nice secluded park with a basketball court and a kiddie play area along with a canopy eating area with picnic tables and chairs.”
“very quiet and not crowded there wasn't anyone else there when I was there which was good for my dog because she doesn't get along with other dogs.”
Huge enclosed dog running area. Secured Gates manicured grass. ONLY DOWNSIDE it becomes a swamp for days after any type of rain. You need rain boots to go in there even on a sunny day if it rained in the days prior. But that is the only downside it is a very nice place to visit and frequent.
Just found this little Park the other da. you have to park out on the street in the neighborhood, it's a short walk to the dog park & playground. The playground was recently redone. There is a basketball court and a volleyball court, a pavilion with three tables under it.
Really loved coming to this park as a kid, tons of fun memories and considerably clean. Safe and fun for kids, in a residential area, within walking distance for a lot of families with small children. Added a dog park and basketball courts sometime ago as well. Highly recommend!

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
