Confirmed from Ruth Armstrong Nature Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Ruth Armstrong Nature Area
“Beautiful trail, a little small but it's great.”
“A pleasant little trail, peaceful and quiet.”
“Family friendly and clean”
My daughter and I went for a walk here this weekend. This is such a neat, hidden spot right in the city. It's really cool walking in a little patch of woods while you hear cars zoom by on Rogers. The trail is easy enough. Unfortunately even though we really enjoyed it, it has fallen into disrepair.
Great place to walk with kids It's got 3 good trails to walk depending on the distance u want to walk.
Good for a quick walk through the trees to recharge you when town gets too much, even though you're never far enough from street for the cars to be hidden.
