Confirmed from Carol Ann Cross Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Carol Ann cross park is a wonderful city park that is well maintained and has several fun things to do. They have numerous covered picnic tables and large gazebos. Most are accompanied by rock built grills. The have a decent sized man made lake that has been stocked with multiple fish species. Fishing is aloud.

This park has got a nice paved trail(6/10th of a mile, just under 1K) all around the pond. You can fish, have a family outing & there’s playground for children. Restrooms are nice and clean. Few covered picnic areas. Benches all around the pond. You can rent kayaks, think they have 3.

Amazing park! Excellent and clean trails. Currently installing a new playground to be completed soon. Open to public fishing. Plenty of benches. Was amazed at how clean it was. Trails for hiking, even paved trails through woods that accommodate handicap equipment. Animal friendly with leash laws present.

★★★★★ — Todd , Feb 2025

Beautiful park with walking trails. Places for the kids to play. Docks to fish and see the ducks. It's a large enough park that even if the parking lot is full there is still plenty of room for your family to enjoy the park. Also the walking trails are really nice this time of year with the leave changing.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
