Sabine Woods, if you are patient, walk slow around the preserve on the many flat, wide, sawdust and leaf curated trails, or sit in front of the 3 main water drips in April and May you will see WARBLERS of many colors and variety. I saw 10 on a poor earth's day and 30 species of birds total.
Amazing Place..Bird watchers dream. Not many parking spots on gravel/dirt. $10 per person entry..Well worth it. Trails and small pond with a couple of benchs. We enjoyed our visit and will return.
Very nice wooded area for bird watching. I didn't have cash to pay the donation fee but they have a QR code at the entrance to pay online but I couldn't get it to work. Will contact them to pay them when I get back home.
$10 for non-members, but it's a beautiful place to go birding! There are benches along the paths, so you can sit and simply watch them, take your time strolling the paths, and make a day of it if you'd like.
