Love Sea Rim! We had a blast! You can catch crabs & gators at the same time lol right on the Gulf at McFadden Beach. Beautiful scenery & trails. Sunset is a must! Bring your mosquito spray if you're there after dark! Don't forget the binoculars. & It has beautiful clean beaches, plenty of seashells to find.
Beautiful location, board walk is fantastic. BRING BUG SPRAY! And also an electric swatter as these pesky bugs go literally everywhere and without that swatter we'd be eaten alive. Still worth staying but brew prepared.
Awesome park! We loved the marsh and the beach. Crabbing with the rangers was super fun! The rangers were helpful and led great programs, including crabbing and birding. It was a beautiful, natural beach, and while there were people around, it was not overcrowded. . There was seaweed but also places to walk and relax.
Beautiful spot with long boardwalk trail through a marsh, along with a beach around three quarters of a mile long. The beach has tons of flotsam making it a great place to look for shells and other collectibles. Beware the mosquitos beginning at dusk, they are innumerable, but the bites are mild.
