Confirmed from Salmon Brook Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Public park featuring picnic facilities, a playground, athletic fields, basketball and tennis courts, and a dog park.
What runners say about Salmon Brook Park
“The kids had many little league games, and the park was very clean.”
“The rest of the park looks beautiful and plan on exploring another time”
We love it here! We walk the stream. Deep enough in parts for swimming! Playground & dog park. Perfect for the whole family. If your lucky you can see horses crossing the stream.
Great park to take the little ones. The playground is a frenced area so the kids can run, and you don't have to worry about losing one, lol . Plenty of parking . There are two playgrounds . It looks like one for the bigger kids and one for the small ones.
Very well clean and maintained park. AI have yet to see it crowded. Playscapes for kids. Pond with lifeguards when open. A brook close by along with a dog park. Hiking/walking trails, baseball field, bathrooms etc. Nice place close to home.
A very nice community park. Soccer, lacrosse, baseball, basketball, volleyball, swimming in an enclosed pond. A dog park, walking track, and a modern children's play area.

- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
