Confirmed from Sam Peden Community Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Sam Peden Community Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (1,256 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 10 mentions

“The park offers nice fields for various sports, tennis courts, well kept playgrounds, and a 1.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 3 mentions

“Tennis courts, soccer field, basketball courts, walking trails, and of course fishing in the beautiful lake!”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 3 mentions

“Lovely, peaceful, and pleasant experience was had.”

My hidden find is a set of stairs to run up and down. 110 stairs. Most are half your regular scale that makes it great for a beginner to advanced runner. Many paths and hills for open walks and runs that feel safe. Area for picnic to outdoor sporty activities.

Very clean, well-maintained park. Great amount of space, 4 shelters with grills and individual bathrooms at 3 of those 4. Horseshoe, tennis, basketball, sand volleyball, volleyball courts. They have a walk and read to keep kids interested in being more proactive, a book exchange box and a small food trade box.

★★★★★ — Ashley , Jul 2022

This park has activities for kids and adults alike. Tennis courts, soccer field, basketball courts, walking trails, and of course fishing in the beautiful lake!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
