Confirmed from San Felasco Hammock Preserve State Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
State park with well-maintained trails that appeal to hikers, mountain bikers, and equestrians.
What runners say about San Felasco Hammock Preserve State Park
“Restrooms, Pavilion with picnic tables, shower and hose for cleaning up after biking, place to clean horses, bike repair station also !”
“Not technical at all but still a nice ride through a really beautiful and well established forest.”
“The trails are pretty easy to navigate but I would recommend using an app like trail forks to help.”
Bring $4 in cash since you have to put it in an envelope and leave at the gate (nobody there to make change) or use the App to pay. Trails are great and really focused on biking. Many of the further trails are rooty so can be bumpy if you don’t have good shocks. Lots of trails so it is easy to get a lot of miles in.
A truly great mountain bike trail. The trails are pretty easy to navigate but I would recommend using an app like trail forks to help. Lots of wildlife! We saw 5 deer and exactly 84 squirrels.
Beautiful place. Awesome trails. Some easy trails, some wicked hard trails with speed. Pretty busy with riders on Sundays. Met a pack of loud- talking cycling bros in the parking lot with a lot to prove to everyone within earshot, but everyone else I met on the trail was super nice.
This is a great mountain bike trail system. It's mostly an XC style course with not many opportunities for getting your tires off the ground but that's not my style yet so I dig it. Surprising amount of climbing is possible for Florida.
