Confirmed from San Felasco Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“I go there to chill at lunch time it's quiet and there are trails to walk never very busy or sit in truck to relax before going back to work.”

Great park with some nice walking trails that is somewhat secluded. It does connect with Millhopper park somewhere. Very peaceful and not overcrowded. There are trails on both sides of the entrance road, more swamp areas on the north side, which are really pretty but kind of eerie, and maybe more walking area on the…

Such a beautiful and calming place to walk/hike! Nice variety of trails and pretty safe from my experience.

By far our favorite park in Gainesville. It's nicely shared, has two covered pavilions as well as a few picnic tables scattered about the park. There are trails through the woods and a paved trail. Bathrooms are usually cleaned and stocked. The play area is perfect for smaller kids, as it's easy to keep an eye on them.

♿♿ I use a rollator so this review is for handicapped folks. I walked the .6 mile trail (one way). You could use a motorized wheelchair here too. Wide trail, a few roots, pine straw covers the trail. It was easy for me. Nice and shaded. Bathrooms are accessible.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚻 Restrooms 8 mentions

“Lots of tree cover with plenty of play ground equipment for kids, canopies and grilling stations for parties, walking trails, public restrooms and water fountains.”

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadrestrooms, water — reported by runners
  • Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
