Confirmed from Sandy Creek Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Our dog LOVES ❤ all of the private dog parks here!!! He doesn't get along well with others, so we NEVER get to take him to dog parks while traveling 😞 (Thank you so much for making thos an option) Going in, it's easy to assume that for only $1-2/hr (I can't remember which, but I think it's only $1), ur only going to…

Sandy Creek Park is a BEAUTIFUL park. They have a large lovely swim area with beach, a beautiful lake surrounded by gorgeous GA trees, lots of trails, disc golf, nature center, multiple gazebos and picnic areas! They have kayaks and canoes avaible for rent, cheap.

It is a great place to visit. There is a beach ⛱️ and kid playground. A lot of space to walk, run or ride a bike in a pleasant nature environment. There are places to make fireplace and BBQ. Highly recommended as a place to spend the weekend with family. The entry fee is $2 per person.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🐕 Dog-friendly 20 mentions

“We were looking for things to do with our Doggy Day Out dog (who is for adoption through AAHS) named Winner, and stumbled across this gem on the outskirts of town.”
