Confirmed from Santa Clara River Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Santa Clara River Preserve
“Nice peaceful ADA accessible area with one porta potty, river access and room to roam.”
“It is an easy hike for all ages.”
Grand opening of this beautiful Santa Clara River trail. It is an easy hike for all ages. Bird watching is a must. The view to the river bed was breathtaking. Making this location one of my favorite places to visit.
Easy, flat hikes thru scrub and wildflowers. Great place to bird watch along the river trail.
I've been waiting for public hiking access to the river for years. All easy trails.
Newest of TNC preserves. Amazing restoration work to remove all invasive plant species. Will need new trail network soon. Will be great birding hwrw in near future.
