I find the open space and running creek highly conducive to a great time getting more in tune with nature. Wildlife such as ducks, cranes, fish, and many varieties of birds can be quite entertaining.
Other than the few hobos that hang out, this is a great place to take your dog(s). There is a creek that runs year round and a walking trail. I visit almost every single day with my dog Jackson.
This is one of the older parks in Roseville and is a little bit more run down than most of the other parks. One of its main draws are the two baseball fields with bleachers. There are two small playground areas with swings and slides located on the east side of the park behind the baseball diamonds.
Took our dog to the dog park for a bit and then for a walk on the trail by the creek. It was a very nice outing and not too crowded. Facilities felt safe and well kept up. There is a playground right next to the dog park so it is great if you want to keep an eye are your kid and doggo at the same time.
