Nice little hidden gem. Tent sites on the banks of the cedar river. Primitive tent sites that you have to walk a trail 50 yards or so to get to. Main camp ground for rvs. Cedar river sites have a no water restroom house, 6 stalls. The chicken creek has a boat ramp for kayaks and such.
Grew up with park and a lot has changed over the years.Various picnic and grill areas as well as a new bridge,boat landing and fishing "pier".Clean,modern restroom facilities,access to Chicken Creek and Cedar River for anglers,DNR frequently hosts outdoor hikes,canoe trips and learning activities for the entire family.
This place will be my to go to place! Tucked back and cozy💕 I was so excited to find this perfect place. Fishing, trails, old walking bridge with fabulous scenery over the Cedar River. From RV’s to Tents are welcomed. Some tent areas are back even further right next the parts of the cedar River.
Grew up going to Saulsbury and it is one place that has gotten better while staying almost the same iver the years. Beautiful scenery, great trails.
