Confirmed from Savage Community Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Picturesque 53-acre park featuring a sports complex, environmental learning center, trails & a pond.
What runners say about Savage Community Park
“Everything was remarkably clean, there was plenty of parking, and even though it was busy, it did not feel busy since everything was so spread out.”
“Beautiful new playground in 2022 but it's really tall and some of the climbing features are at step angles compared to other playgrounds.”
This park offers a lot to do. You can play tennis, go for a walk or fish off the pier. The dome has activities inside as well. There is also a playground for the kids to play in. There were educational plaques around talking about plant life, bees, and other things.
Pickleball here is extremely busy. I would go to a different place for playing if you are playing during the weekends or after 5pm. However the park is gorgeous and has nice trails through woods. Also there is a cute dock to watch the sunset!
Trail conditions & character
“I may have missed it, but the "main" restroom didn't have a true wheelchair accessible stall.”
“Beautiful new playground in 2022 but it's really tall and some of the climbing features are at step angles compared to other playgrounds.”
“Revamped to cater to many ages and a completely accessible handicapped swing.”
