Confirmed from Saw Wee Kee Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Wildlife park with water activities, plus multi-use trails for BMX biking, horseback riding & more.
What runners say about Saw Wee Kee Park
“As you make your way south down the blue trail, watch out for a little path on the left down to the river bed where you can enjoy a scenic and breezy break from your activity.”
“I thought the trees marked blue were all easy trail but they were not.”
Great spot for hiking or mountain biking. Signs indicate that helmets are required for biking. Portable toilets are available near the parking lot. Starting at the southernmost parking spot, I took the red trail south to the blue trail.
Woody. Hilly. Easy to get lost. But just follow trail blazer and you should get out without having any problems. Watch out for bikers. There are two parking areas. Very limited. One Portable toilet .
This nature trail is for the bike enthusiast. Some the best and most challenging bike trails I have seen. These trails are not for the beginner however. They contain steep drops and high jumps. The trails are also miles long and very physically challenging.
Visit here and you almost forget you're in suburbia. Very little for hiking, though, since the fat tire cycling folk tend to fly through any decent areas to hike. But, if you ride fat tire bikes, this is an excellent place to go and probably one of the only places in this area you can actually get a workout.
Trail conditions & character
“Continuing along the blue path through the south loop and then down the green (hardest) path, filled with steep hills and loose rock, which meets the blue trail later on.”
“As you make your way south down the blue trail, watch out for a little path on the left down to the river bed where you can enjoy a scenic and breezy break from your activity.”
“I appreciate the exposed roots on some trails and I found that the wildcat red trail has a faster pace with more downhill.”
“Portable toilets are available near the parking lot.”
“They have porta potties, as well as picnic tables and benches.”
