Confirmed from Sawmill Branch Trail - Bacon’s Bridge Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Canal-side hiking and biking trail with exercise stations and views of wildlife.
What runners say about Sawmill Branch Trail - Bacon’s Bridge Trailhead
“But let me tell you, when it snowed this past January, it was just gorgeous back there.”
“Great for walking, running or bike riding.”
This is, I believe, a 6 mi trail. Very interesting, it has workout points along the way with suggestions on how to stretch or how to add exercises to your walk, run, or cycling. This path is used for both pedestrians and cyclists so watch out for both also dogs. Away from Ave.
Okay, so maybe these pictures weren't taken on the trail. Maybe they were taken around the back side of the Arbor Oaks subdivision, which you can get to just off of the trail. But let me tell you, when it snowed this past January, it was just gorgeous back there.
This is a good place to go and clear your head. For a run, a bike ride ( which is my preference), walk or just sit and watch the water flow. The City of Summerville keeps this place up real nice in my opinion. Honestly the City of Summerville keeps our whole City nice!!!!
Great place to walk, run or ride a bike. Very long trail. Very clean. It runs along side of a very nice creek. Easy to see from the road.
