Confirmed from Rosebrock Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 6 mentions

“It’s worth it to take the Bluff Loop and take a break by some ancient looking, beautiful trees…take some deep breaths, drink some water and head back to reality.”

🪧 well-marked 4 mentions

“The trails are well-marked and nicely cleared, making them easy to navigate.”

Nice clean park— went to hike trail. Trail is clearly marked and easy to walk. The trail is directly through forest so be aware a lot of tree stumps if you are someone with physical restrictions. Perfect for a quick walk in nature. Playground looked to be for younger kids. I would say not above 9 year olds.

My new fave go-to for a quick nature fix. Sure, the road is right there and you can hear traffic…but soon you get lost in the bird calls and the music of the wind through the trees. Path is straightforward enough for even the most beginner of trailblazers 🤙Wear shoes, not sandals. Its great how many benches there are!

I debated between 4 and 5 stars and would ultimately love to give Rosebrock Park 4.5 stars. The park is well-maintained, family-friendly, and offers great amenities, but the noticeable road noise from Bacon’s Bridge Road slightly detracts from the overall experience, so I’ll stick with 4 stars.

A very nice trail. Very walkable full of nature we saw a couple of little birds in the tree it was a little bit wet cuz we've had some rain but that just made it a little more challenging. Took two little doggies with us and they loved it too.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
