Confirmed from Ashley River Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Relaxed riverside park featuring playgrounds, walking trails, dog parks and zip lines.

“Large and small dog parks adjacent to a shaded playground and splash pads.”
“Playground is great for all ages, and the bathrooms are clean.”
This park is fantastic! The playground area is huge and well suited to younger kids as well as older ones (there are two play structures for the different age groups). There are some trees but they won't provide much shade come summer time. The kids loved controlling the splash pad spray with the touch of a button!
The park is a serene oasis, boasting picturesque walking trails that wind through lush greenery. The well-maintained paths provide a tranquil escape, perfect for nature lovers and exercise enthusiasts alike.
This park reminded me of the Snoopy Campground area of Carowinds. We went during spring break on a Friday so it was busier than I think it would normally be. BUT sufficient parking and walking distance from parking. I have 4 littles and my husband took the older 2 fishing at one of the docks.
When you turn in…go right to head to the park. Nice to have a big park for the kids. Be careful in water area…lots of slip and falls where the water drains. Long lines for the zip line. I saw parents manning that area so all kids got a chance. I would recommend more seating and shade. A lot of adults were standing.
Trail conditions & character
“They have a fun zip line that kids love, there's also a dog park in front of the playground, that's pretty much I could say, was fun and probably will come again in the future.”
“It was our first time here and it is a great place for older kids to play and a great place to connect with nature with trails and places to seats to enjoy the view.”
“There are also picnic shelters, a giant pond, trails, bathrooms and ample parking.”
