Confirmed from Schaper Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Ninja-themed park featuring obstacle courses and timers.
What runners say about Schaper Park
“Amazing playground with obstacle course and scenic walk.”
“It's great for most kids that like to run and climb.”
I came here for my young kids not knowing what this park was. I was in for a surprise when I ended up playing and running around while my 7 year old called me crazy. It's so much fun!
Still a great park, sadly some of the astrotruff is getting pulled up. Otherwise it has aged well. It's great for most kids that like to run and climb. This park is always busy though I don't think I have seen it empty for more than 10 minutes. I do wish there was a swingset add.
This park is a blast! I would say it has American Ninja Warrior vibes. It was fun trying all the things. My favorite part was the running strip!
It's hard to place Schaper Park because it's a great park for grade schoolers and Middle Schoolers but not toddlers. There's some softball diamonds nearby as well as a pond and a trail. The park is not very big and there isn't a ton of parking that's close.
Trail conditions & character
“Bathrooms nearby that aren't just porta potties which is a bonus.”
“The park is not very big and there isn't a ton of parking that's close.”
