It's a great local park and pond for fishing, dog walking, jogging, or entertaining the kids. Especially if you live in the Greendale area. As far as the fishing goes there are some bass and plenty of catfish on the bottom.
Grew up a block away that for fishing. Ice skating walking kids to play at with multiple playgrounds bathrooms a shelter a grilling area. Set back in a very safe neck of the town. The city utilize it for many activities throughout the year. Just don't believe the storys about little Johnny.
Nice pond for fishing with the kids! It does have a small play area and a great trail around it to walk or bike. There is a shelter for picnics too!
