A beautifully, privately owned park open to the public, Schuetzen has a lot of character with trails that have varied terrain, verticality, and tranquility. Really nice place to trail run with laps and some hill climbs.
I decided to host my first event (Wubbz. Love. And Grub.) And it was beyond perfect!!! The park and facilities were immaculate. The staff was so helpful and kind. The park is truly beautiful; plenty shade and a wonderland of trails and natural beauty.
Beautiful and well maintained! Definitely a hidden gem 😊 Definitely a hike, so be prepared.
Small, quaint, lovely park for walk with historic touch. Guardrails for steep areas.The recent derecho felled many trees. Volunteers have worked hard to clear trails. Have seen some great birds during migration. Tucked away.
