Confirmed from Sunderbruch Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Public park featuring trails for hiking, horseback riding & biking plus picnic shelters.

Sunderbrunch Park: Fun, Fitness, and Family-Friendly Adventures Sunderbrunch Park is one of our favorite spots to enjoy the outdoors as a family! Whether we're out for a relaxing hike together or my kids are burning off energy on the dinosaur bone play equipment or the ninja obstacle course playground, there's…
Sunderbruch Park is arguably the BEST place to mountain bike in the Quad Cities, and riders come from out of town just to ride here. The trails are many and varied, and maintained well thanks to QC FORC.
Fun place to go for a casual day out with kids, or you can be more adventurous if you want the harder trails. There's bike trails and horseback riding trails here. Lovely views. Absolutely recommend.
Great place to take a walk. For yourself your dog. They also have mountain bike paths worth checking out. It's nice that's it's a bit off the beaten path less busy then other parks.

“A long paved path for bikes with some side routes of dirt paths.”
“It's a great idea and I'm glad the city did it but wish the wood chips were a different playground material because some areas have very little landing cushion left.”
“:) There are bathrooms, areas to relax after your ride, and plenty of parking.”
“There is plenty of parking in the main lot, and I greatly enjoyed riding here a few times now.”

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
