We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Scout Mountain Nature Trailhead yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Benches, picnic tables, barbecue grills and nature trails amidst scenic views.
What runners say about Scout Mountain Nature Trailhead
“Wanted to share these amazing photos of an abandoned house and barley field that I saw while off roading on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon.”
Very pretty forest. Not far from Pocatello city. We loved it there. My favourite nature trail in the area.
Cool little nature trail. Perfect for small kids. A couple of benches and places to picnic on the trail.
A serene trail, long enough to be interesting, short enough to be enjoyed by most people in an hour or so. Some slopes are a little steep, and it's too narrow for handicap access. There are a handful of benches along the way, which make a nice place to stop and rest or just take things in.
Great relatively easy hike. Some elevation gain a few times. 3 benches throughout. A few areas where the bushes spread over the trail. Small trail. Wasn't busy in the morning.
