We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Gibson Jack Trailhead yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Trail-laced nature area offering hikes, mountain biking and horseback riding.
What runners say about Gibson Jack Trailhead
“I have forgotten to add a review on this trail it’s absolutely beautiful I hiked it back in October 20, 2020 and saw this moose it was my first time seeing one this close.”
Probably one of my favorite mountain bike trails. There is lots of varied terrain. I wish IF would develop some more trails like this. Good job Pocatello!.
Nice trails, kid friendly. Saw a moose on the other side of the river.
Absolutely beautiful! More photos are posted on @callie__hikes on instagram. Trail is in perfect condition! I didn’t do the whole thing, but it was nice to walk up and enjoy some views and then turn around when I needed to 😊
You have your choice of several trails that wind through the hills and cross small streams. Moose and dear frequent this area. Some trails are hiking biking only, others are multi use.
