I walk at Seaside Park frequently. Stunning views of the Sound. Sidewalks for a couple of miles as well as bike lanes. Benches all along the sidewalks as well as picnic tables in the grassy areas.
The park itself is nice. A nice walk along the water, sculptures are interesting. The biggest issue I had was the permit only parking everywhere, but nowhere to purchase! I managed to find some non permit parking nearby. When I looked up the permits, they are CRAZY expensive! $50 for one day of out of state parking??!!
Love this beach, it's so beautiful and the water is clean, despite what people say, it's a sound of a different ecosystem so that's why it's not clear blue. Tell me if I'm wrong. The walk around the beach ⛱️ is beautiful seeing the waves crash on the big rocks and seagulls looking for fish.
For peace, go early. Despite people always saying the city is a hot mess, seaside is miraculously always pretty clean. But I go in the morning before the crowds starts. So that's why I've never seen it dirty. We go in the water all the time. Bathroom facilities are decent. Showers are as well.
