Confirmed from Sebastian Inlet State Park Hammock Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Hiking area with a mile-long trail, picnic tables, and access to a beach.
What runners say about Sebastian Inlet State Park Hammock Trail
“The trail was great, we saw lots of wildlife, and there were so many beautiful picture opportunities.”
Decent trail! Close to the actual inlet part at the park which is always really awesome. Very cool as it’s mostly 100% shaded. Nice mix of trees and eco zones. Very cool mangrove part where you are going through a tunnel of trees basically. Saw a couple turtles. Decent bike trails throughout.
Wonderful walk through the barrier island in its natural state. Dozens of interesting interpretive signs. A must do if in this beautiful area.
The parking lot is across the road. The trail is about 100 feet to the beach. During the week, we have the beach to ourselves. On the weekends, we share with about 10 other people. There are no restrooms on site.
Beautiful plants and turtles in natural setting. Easy to miss even with Google. Parking on shoulder right on A1A. Fence door for access. For walking and hiking only access only. Muddy in November.

“This little state park was sort of difficult to find, the trailhead is north of the actual park itself, but once we found it we were all set.”
