Confirmed from Seminole Valley Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
This 409-acre park features a historic village & farm, a playground, a soccer field, trails & more.
What runners say about Seminole Valley Park
“Watch out for the snakes, saw one stunning itself in tree and arou d the river banks.”
“Otherwise a nice and quiet park with meadows, the river and a couple swimming holes.”
A beautiful place for a walk or run, anytime of day. Trails are wide and loop through a nice flat path that gives a beautiful view. It's an every day visit for me.
Saw a doggie on a boat. Hard to beat that. Big field for games and a nice walking trail by the river.
Very serene park along the Cedar River. Nice walking trail. Great place for pictures.
If you like wide open spaces near Cedar Rapids to run, cross country ski, or fly model aircraft, then this is your place. There's plenty of room for games, picnics, and sports. With the Cedar River often being high, many trails flood often, and river access is limited.
