Confirmed from Settler's Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Settler's Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (221 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 4 mentions

“The rest of the park is decent size and well maintained.”

🌳 shaded & cool 3 mentions

“The larger kid setup has a shade cover that's usually good until 11am!”

Great park. There is someone walking 3 dogs off leash. I have seen that several times. There is a leash law. This makes it difficult for most of us walking our dogs on a leash. Please leash your dogs,it doesn't matter how well you think your dogs are trained.Thank you!

Love taking my dogs to the dog park. I like how there is grass there. The only problem with grass is when they run sprinklers it makes the grass very slippery for the dogs as they play. Not sure why they would run sprinklers at 8am and not earlier than that. Overall park is kept very nice!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🐕 Dog-friendly 22 mentions

“Two playgrounds, baseball diamond, basketball courts, fenced dog park, covered picnic tables, volley ball, tennis and wide open field.”
