The booth workers and the resources officer were extremely helpful. We ended up having vehicle issues during our 1 night stay. The booth workers gave us some great recommendations for the area on taking my truck to a good ford dealership.
It’s a beautiful park, offering campers lake views with the Rockies in the distance. The electrified sites are large and well spaced out. There are good walking trails. Water pressure at the dump station is good. If only the park were not next to I-25!
Nice park with tons of trails and plenty of lakes and ponds to enjoy. I have the state park pass so I didn’t pay directly for entry, but I think it’s worth a visit just to enjoy some nature in relative peace (not a ton of people around on a beautiful 70 degree day).
Nice place tucked away off I25 and 119. We've seen lots of birds and some wildlife here (including coyotes so mind your dogs!). Great views of Longs peak and usually quiet, though the campground seems busier. Lots of places to fish, bike and walk.
