Walked literally thousands of miles here since the opening. Few people and lots of wildlife. And no ,dogs are not allowed.
Bring a hat and plenty of water. No shade except small covered seating areas.
Uncrowded park with mountain bike and hiking trails and disc golf. We hiked 4 miles of the red trail - well marked at most decision points - but not all. Be prepared for no shade/water on this hike.
Pretty enjoyable walk. One route is a bit boring, but the other is scenic.
