We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of SFB Morse Botanical Reserve yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about SFB Morse Botanical Reserve
Great place to hike with your dogs, trails range from easy to moderate--nothing technically challenging, just some good hill climbs. You'll probably see a few lizards, birds and squirrels, but I haven't seen anything larger than that yet.
Nice trail to take the dog on a hike. Not so crowded when we got there. Kid friendly. Due to recent rain, some parts of the trail had water puddles, and were muddy and slippery. Lucky I had on waterproof hiking shoes. Quite a bit of poison oak on the narrow trails so recommend to wear long pants.
Great place to go hiking. There are several trails within the reserve. All the trails have been cleared of down trees and the paths were dried out. You can spend as much time here as you want. You can stick to one route or cross between trails to extend your hike.
