We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Shadow Mountain Park yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Clean park offering playgrounds and a baseball field for the kids.
What runners say about Shadow Mountain Park
“Plenty of open grass space, two baseball fields, large playground area with lots of equipment, all kept up well-- as trimmed and clean as one could hope.”
“I absolutely Enjoy each and every visit to this community park for its patewons and the beautiful location.”
Very kid friendly and dog friendly. It's nice, clean, and fun. It's also very big, and has a little bike/walking trail around it. They have this little book station to drop off books for the library. They have baseball/softball fields.
The park is always clean. It has a farmers market on Sundays. There's a dog park and walking track on the far end of the park.
This is a great park. It it well maintained. The zip line is a blast for my elementary aged grandchildren. I am impressed with how well the kids all get in line and run it with little adult intervention.
Great park! Has lots of grass, a smaller playground, bigger one and a zip line. There is trees for shade. There is a gate so your kids don't run out into the street.
