Confirmed from Two Trees Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Easy hike with scenic views, plus coyotes and trails for kids, burros and donkeys.

“The trail is easy to follow and in pretty good shape.”
“Relatively easy hike with some steeper parts here and there but it was fun.”
This is a wonderful place to get a little exercise. Three mile round trip with a little over 700' altitude gain. The trail is easy to follow and in pretty good shape.
Beautiful views, great if you feel like role playing a quest to the lonely mountain. The trail is good, just a few rocky steps, and keep an eye out for the donkeys
Super pretty trail with a nice view both up and down. It's an out and back so you can make it as short as you want. There are a lot of spots to stop and rest along the way and just take in the beautiful view. It's a pretty easy hike. There's a steady incline on the way up and going down is quick and easy.
Nice little trail going up the mountain behind UCR. It starts near the top of Blaine (Two Tree Road) and goes up to the road on top of the mountain that leads to the M (Moreno Valley). It's easy to follow and can get steep in some parts.
Trail conditions & character
“Beautiful views, great if you feel like role playing a quest to the lonely mountain.”
“It’s often steep, goes up and down over hills covered with boulders and native plants.”
“But besides that there is free parking, recommend parking by the donkeys because the lower parking there are many break ins.”
“Be careful when offering carrots, hold your hand flat, they will take it with their lips.”
“This trail is not at all wheelchair friendly.”
