Confirmed from Shadow Rock Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Shadow Rock Park
“Very clean park, very nice park for the whole family”
“When the lights are on from the field it creates a beautiful view of the landscape.”
Great hike jus scary going down. But fun and beautiful. Great community.
WOW! Such a beautiful park in our community. We were so excited to find out that a park was being built close to home and they hit it out of the ball park with this one!
It's so nice of course it's new let's see how long can it be like that I was able to hike to pepe' peak from here
Lovely park nestled at the foot of a large rock formation with lots of modern play equipment, including a small zip line, giant cage ball, and inclusive swings. There are nice amenities: two separate dog parks, restrooms, and sports fields as well as a mid-size walking trail.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadrestrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
