Confirmed from Jurupa Mountain's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Ecological park with hiking trails.
What runners say about Jurupa Mountain
“It had such an amazing view and beautiful paintings all over.”
“Easy hike to get in you're a bit short on time but still want some fresh air exercise.”
Its a nice easy hike if you're in good shape. Maybe 40min-1hr to reach the top. Takes me about 10min to go down. For first timers or the unconditioned (my mom, cousins, etc) it might be steep and a bit long to reach the top (maybe 1-1.5 hr) but the views are definitely worth it as long as you go before sunset/sunrise!
it’s an amazing hike for a beginner or intermediate hiker. You get a real sense of accomplishment when you’re at the summit.
Steep hike but not too long and the view is nice. Unfortunately people keep dumping their garbage
Alright, so everyone hikes and posts about the hill with the park at the base, but I really prefer the neighboring mountain! Yeah, it's shorter, but it's so quiet there, and the views are just as great! Easy hike to get in you're a bit short on time but still want some fresh air exercise.

“Barely any shades on the trail and the trail is quite rocky itself.”

The practical stuff
- AccessHours vary — hours are not posted for this trail, so check before an early or late run
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
