Confirmed from Shaker Trail - Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Shaker Trail - Trailhead
“Scenic trails good for mountain biking, hiking, skiing and shoeshoeing, offering a variety of challenges, including steep climbs to the old Shaker sites Mt.”
Very nice and easy to walk trails with some nice spots to get tiny trucks dirty.
This is a great spot to explore. Mount Holy and Shaker Mountain can be hiked separately to build up to the 6.5 mile loop. Both mountains have interesting if somewhat plain destinations at the top. Both mountains used to be home to yearly religious rites so it can be a neat experience metaphysically.
This is a great and somewhat challenging trail in the Berkshires. It has various stone walls at various elevations up the mountain, built hundreds of years ago, it has lots of trees, leaves, ferns, etc, and it has a beautiful brook running along the sides of it.
Scenic trails good for mountain biking, hiking, skiing and shoeshoeing, offering a variety of challenges, including steep climbs to the old Shaker sites Mt. Sinai and Holy Mount and fun descents. The wider paths also allow motorized vehicles.

“If doing the loop I would recommend a map, and looking backward as you go can help find trail markers as well as looking forward.”
