Confirmed from Sharon Woods Harbor's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park centered on a scenic lake offering a shared-use trail, playgrounds, picnic spots, and water sports.
What runners say about Sharon Woods Harbor
“Lol easier to use than I remember, not sure if that's because I'm older/bigger or the boats are better 😂 The scenery was beautiful and the weather was perfect.”
“It was beautiful out by the lake, very clean and very quiet.”
This place is amazing! There are trails for beginners to more advanced trails. The heritage center is gorgeous. The visitors center had an indoor play area for families so even if it's raining you can let your little people run of that excess energy!
If you find this review helpful, please like it below. This is another fantastic Hamilton County Park. All sorts of family friendly activities as well as just nice open spaces and great running trails. Easy to rent a variety of boats by the hour plus a great little bait shop in site.
Nice running trail around the lake. Plenty of shade. Gets dark quickly after sunset though. Plan your run accordingly.
I love the walking trails at Sharon Woods. I take my dogs there frequently as we live 2 miles from the park. My only complaint is there are no restrooms around the lake except at the boathouse. I would like to see porta potties placed on the trail.
