Confirmed from Shasta Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Low-key neighborhood park featuring maintained grassy expanses, shade trees & a playground.
What runners say about Shasta Park
“It's clean the majority of the time which is a good thing👍 there isn't any restrooms though which is kind of a hassle😅 Big and neat play area for young ones.”
“I grew up playing at this park and it's nice to bring my son back to The Rolling Hills and beautiful trees.”
“Gorgeous Park, had a cute lil playground for the littles, and lots and lots of shade.”
I have been parked here intermittently as my father lives just down the street. None of the neighbors have complained and a couple of them even brought me dinner! Kind neighborhood. Beautiful park. Tall trees give you some nice afternoon shade.
Pretty cool little spot. Nice open grounds. Would be cool if they committed a part of it to like a dog park or community gardens or something. Otherwise just a bunch of open space, couple of trails, and a playground.
This park has recycled cut up pieces of tire instead of bark. You bounce when you walk. There is two play sides to this park. A younger than 5 side and older than 5 side. The park has 2(what looks to be handicap) swings(bring your own straps, it looks to be missing the latch system), but a cool idea none the less.
