Confirmed from Shaw Family Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Kid-friendly recreational spot featuring dog runs, ponds, tennis courts and playgrounds.
What runners say about Shaw Family Park
“Massive park and very quiet.”
Great place to walk, run, play, fish, and just enjoy being outside. Great play areas and a splash pad for the kids. Two dog parks, once each for large and small breeds. Tennis courts, obstacle course, 40 yard dash area. The main activity areas have bathrooms and water fountains. Splash pad area has 2 covered pavilions.
Massive park and very quiet. You can run easily, go play tennis, and picnic in the huge fields. Lots of smaller playgrounds as well
Love the different playgrounds, splash pad, & tons of walking trails. The covered pavilions with picnics tables are great & I love that they connect the playground to the splash pad so you can always keep an eye on your kiddos.
Large sidewalks for walking. Fun splash pad for kids as well as playground equipment. Dog park (2 depending on their size) and tennis courts. Large areas for picnics and fishing.
