Confirmed from Shelton Dog Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Spacious park with hiking trails for humans alongside fenced areas for dogs.
What runners say about Shelton Dog Park
“It feels very safe and clean.”
“There's a nice wild flower garden and plenty of shade for those hot days.”
Nice little neighborhood park. I come here almost daily with my daughter. It feels very safe and clean. Dogs play in the fenced in area. We spend some time in the garden by the road then hike to Hope Lake, which is about half a mile from the park entrance.
Best dog park I've been to in the area! There are two faced in areas, one for small dogs (under 25 pounds) and one for big dogs. It's great for working on socializing my rescue pup, because she's small enough that we can take her on whichever side is less crowded.
It was a smaller than some bigger than others but nice segregated park little and bigger dogs in places. I wish they had a working fresh water source. I found some empty steel bowls but left my water back at the car. I didn't want them drinking from the pond. There was shade and places to sit, for humans, in the shade.
Although Labeled #DOGPARK this park exceeds expectations with enough space fenced in to play or even train your best friend it also offers trails you can hike with the family and friends, plus free parking 🐕🐶🐩🐺🦊 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
