We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Pine Lake Trailhead, Shelton, CT yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Pine Lake Trailhead, Shelton, CT
“The scenery is absolutely gorgeous, I love how clam it is to hear the brids chrip and through there”
“Clean park, relax and easy trail, surprisingly there are pine trees.”
One of the few places I've found around here with pine trees. They are just so calming. I hope the faerie forest comes back this year, it was very magical. There is also great care taken of the paths and side paths. Just love it.
Good place to start for Shelton trails if you like ending on a downhill.
Clean park, relax and easy trail, surprisingly there are pine trees. Limited parking. I did not see any restroom or portalet.
Nice path with many options of lenght and mostly flat. Open for bikes and dogs and a few spots to park along the trail. It's close to small roads so it's not as quiet as other trials bit still a pretty place for a hike.
